IKEA and food recipes - while I do enjoy some of the food offerings in their stores - we bought two of their cookbooks. I wondered with the first - as a couple of things did not turn our well or similar to the picture. But their salmon cream (an appetizer) is the bomb. In their desert book - the Princess Torte - did not turn out properly at all. It is in reality a multi-step process not the three or four steps the IKEA dessert book made it out to be.
I feel the same about the news - it makes my morning computer time much shorter though. Our local CBS station (I follow it on FB) - just prints every scare and fearmongering story on coronavirus there is. I’m so tired of it - the last one I commented on a few days ago - I simply wrote fearmongering again, I see.
I hope that they start opening up from this idococracy soon. IL did a partially good report on their recent new cases - (it certainly did not cover the entire 2119 new cases) - but the breakdown - one was in their 30s, 4 in their 40s and 2 in their 50s - all the rest were over 60. There was a better way to do this. And, I read in an article this AM that the massive death rate in nursing homes- might be attributable to the terrible general care that these people get - and that in some areas ‘medically sound’ coronavirus elderly were sent back to nursing homes. Who ever thought that was a good idea?
Plus - with some areas labeling any ‘suspected’ or ‘possible’ coronavirus deaths as coronavirus - was/is our fatality rate even close to real?
I suspect that this was done to destroy Trump. Everything else has failed - now with the investigations in DC - the truth at how so much of those things were created out of thin air - destroying the economy - no matter how many Americans it hurts - seems to be solely to hurt Trump’s re-election.
Because I really don’t think that this is 100% about a virus.
At this point I agree completely. It’s almost all political, and every day that goes by shows this more and more.
I was up early today going over the covid numbers at the nj.gov site. It’s a very good dashboard. Read it carefully and analyze the numbers: seniors are the vast majority of the deaths,(80+), nearly all of them have at least one other comorbidity, and that doesn’t include obesity, which is nearly universal with these deceased. Yes, the nursing homes- “LTC” long term care facilities are hard hit. Or so it seems. Look up actuarial curves and you’ll see that (when we aren’t having a big war) it’s the seniors who die the most. And so many LTC places are hardly more than hospice anyway.
Read the essay I linked in today’s short post. We’ve been lied to massively.
