Syrian Saber Rattling

  1. Syria is ready for war??? Mwaahahahahaa! Our guys have a real strong presence along Syria’s eastern/south eastern border already, and I’m sure they’re really sick and tired of Syrian incursionistas and eager for some payback. Let’s see ... oh yeah, Turkey controls all of Syria’s northern border and is our NATO ally in theory, at least. Will they behave? Hmm, we could always rally our buddies the independence minded Iraqi Kurds if they don’t! Most of their relatives live in Turkey. Hmmm? Half of Syria’s western border is the Mediterranian, which the US Navy can own whenever it wants to, and the Israeli navy probably controls the coast already. The other half of their western border is Lebanon, which Israel could take over in a weekend if they really truly wanted to. On the south, Jordan is sort of our ally aren’t they, though if they have any smarts they’ll sit this next one out, since we’re on one side and Israel is on the other. Oops! So rattle on, Walid. We’ve got you surrounded without even firing a shot. Now if only W could just figure out how to tighten the vise on this idiot’s nuts ...

  2. With the US positioned between Syria and Iran, one would think that they might be a bit uncomfortable. I believe both countries are stirring up the shit in Iraq and Lebanon itching for a fight. I also think that they are miscalculating thinking the US would never engage in a new theatre due to the msm coverage, global outcry, anti war zealots and elections around the corner. Me thinks that if they continue to provoke the giant with sticks in his eye, the giant will put that stick where it belongs....media or no media. Hopefully the response will be disproportionate in every way imaginable!  cool mad

  3. Squiggler, the 45% you mention are the products of our fine, feminized, estrogenated educational system combined with many parents who neglect their responsibility of parenting. The added bonus is that there is no requirements on intelligence to vote. This is the “Chavez” model, allow the middle class and professionals to flee, and what is left are the peasants and idiots who are easily fooled and led like lemmings by a fascist. Unfortunately we are losing the propaganda war as msm has taken a hard left… bat3

  4. I would agree with that squiggler.  The downside for the USA is that if the lemming-leaders gain control of this country again it won’t have 70 years to recover.  It will be dead—or at least as good as dead—very quickly, probably in as little as 5-10.  Or less.

  5. As this folk singer once put it:

Come senators, congressmen, please heed the call,
Don’t stand in the doorway, don’t block up the hall,
For he who gets hurt will be he who has stalled,
    The battle outside is raging,
Will soon shake your window and rattle your wall,
For the times they are a changing.
