  1. So let’s see, liars, cheats, re-niggers (is that a word?), say anything to get elected, turncoats, power hungry mad lunatics? Did we really expect anything else?

All sugar and sweetness until they are in ‘power’ - too bad the morons can’t help themselves and just have to crow about their desire to pass their bills and cut of Repubs (like they have been screeding about, ala the Hildabeast’s plantation remark)for an age.

I guess it’s business as usual - so much for America, Americans, what’s best for the country and bi-partisanship be damn - the donks have power and they are going to beat everyone else who is not them up with it. God Help America.

  2. Give the Democrats a chance. It is still way too early to tell what will happen. I, for one, am going to vote against anyone from either party who refuses to work with the other side. GW was good at this when he was Governor of Texas. He and Bob Bullock got along just fine and got a lot of good things done. They compromised…

If you think that things are going to hell just because the Democrats are in power, you are probably part of the problem and not part of the solution.

Here’s hoping the two parties can find some common middle ground and do what needs to be done.

  3. Yellow Dawg, I are not part of the problem or the solution. I are just an innocent bystander. Things are not going to go to hell but neither are they going to change. The party in power will always slap the other party down in spite of the lies and promises they make to get our vote. The Democrats don’t deserve a chance if they’re going to go back on their word this early. Aren’t you apologizing for them a little too soon?

Dubya did an admirable job working with the Democratic controlled Texas legislature but Washington is an entirely different horse and I don’t think anyone can ever make those assholes fully cooperate. Too much greed and power-hunger. They only pretend to play nice when they want our vote.

I bet Dubya will be more than glad to get the hell out of DC in January, 2008. I wouldn’t blame him one bit. His own party screwed him for six years and now the Democrats will give him the shaft for two more.

  4. “Having control over the House and the Senate certainly gives us a very strong voice at the table, something we haven’t had before,” said Drew Hammill, a Pelosi spokesman.
Uhm, didn’t they for 40 years prior to our electing a R majority? Wasn’t there a reason we elected an R majority? Didn’t the left hamstring the R majority to prevent accomplishment of what we were promised? Or was it that the Rs turned into beltway weinies once they were in power? Whatever it was, this has got to be stopped!

  5. OMG. Scary, scary picture of Pelosi.  Thanks a lot. shock  shock  Though...looking at that mug, I can see why the libs are on the side of the islamofacists. I mean, really, if I looked like that, I probably wouldn’t mind covering up with a burkha in public.

Afterall, it would be for the common good, you know… smirk

  7. grin Hello, newby here.  Just a quick 2 cents to add.  We better watch them close, I’ve already heard they’re going to try passing legislation restricting free speech as fast as they can. Started with Rockafeller and Snow threatening Exxon if they dont stop funding anti glowball warming research and Princess Pelosi is going to require anyone contacting more than 500 people to register as lobbyists and report to a oversight committee.

  8. To hell with the idea that Democrats would lie.  All I want to know is if Botox could
create this Frankenstein face, why would anyone use it?  Charming Barracuda, I hate to
contradict you, but Miss Moonbeam is acutally Jerry Brown! His gay lover is the French-
man in a brown leather jacket that is constantly refered to as his “longtime companion.”
In sworn testimony from a case in New Orleans, a teenage runaway tetified that he had to
vacate the bedroom of his “benifactor” whenever the son of a California governor came to
    town.

Miss Moonbean is so much more befitting my former governor, that another nickname must be
found to describe Nancy Pelosi.  I will work with you on this if I must, but it does so
perfectly describe the rod-smoking leftist that once governed California.  I used to
wake up every morning and hit the freeway and see a billboard of Linda Rondstat, and every
morning, I would say “What a lucky SOB Jerry brown was.” That was of course before she gained 200 pounds and became Karlina Marx.  It was decades later that I found out that she was window dressing for a peter puffer.
