  1. As a former Marine, I would love to meet this flyboy “0” and give him something to tolerate.  Most boot Louies are worthless pieces of shit until some Gunny with 20 years TIS gets in his shit so bad the officer doesnt know whether he is coming or going - I’ve seen it many times, heh heh.

You and your buddy hit all points very well, Allan.  It’s not about “freedom *from* religion;” it’s “freedom *of* religion” that fucktards like him have gotten off-track on, probably due to that good, liberal college education he got…

  2. There are, count them, no less than 13 Federal Holidays.

I’m a 16 yr veteran of the USPS.

So, I get, for instance, Martin Luther King Day off..

I’m paid to stay home and what?

The next day I’ve two days worth of mail to deliver. Can you say ‘overtime’?

To be honest, if Pres. Bush is serious about cutting spending, I’d like him to cut the number of Federal holidays.

    Here’s my list:
    July 4—Independance Day;
Thanksgiving Day—usually the fourth Thursday in November.
Christmas Day—regardless of the ACLU, this country was founded on Christian principles.

That’s it. I’ve no truck with MLK Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Veteran’s Day, Flag Day, Columbus Day, New Year’s Day.. etc.

So, cut Federal spending… cut the Federal Holidays

  3. Christopher, I agree with you.

Now, getting it passed is another thing.  Once you have the pig at the tough, he does not want to leave it and will bite you if you try and take it away.

  4. I don’t think this lieutenant is going to reply. Without making himself look stupid, or making a 180 to agree with you, there is really no other way to reply to that email.

    well said.

I don’t identify with any religion at all, nor do i consider myself an atheist. I think that as long as i’m doing what i think is right to me, theres nothing wrong with that. i respect everyone’s right to their own religion and if there are all kinds of religious icons around me, i could really care less. i think trying to not expose our kids to this is a complete mistake. can you imagine an 18 year old that has never been exposed to religion in any shape or form? all it does is breed an intolerance to any form of religion.

in short, i too am sick of the majority of americans being bullied by the minorities on issues like this…

  5. This sort of stuff has really been bothering me lately for a number of reasons. One is that it seems to have really increased...that or I’m just more sensitive to it now. I looked death in the eyes nine months ago and only my faith pulled me through, and it is still pulling.

Here’s what I think is going on: There is a strong movement afoot to remake this country into a Godless, socialist society. I thought we won that war and proved that Godless socialism/communism was a failed experiement.
