  1. The more of this strip I see, the more I am reminded of Walt Kelly and Pogo.

    It’s good to find someone carrying Walt’s torch.  I have long missed it.

  2. Tann, it is a modern version of Pogo. Occasionally, it gets into politics but from a middle-ground perspective. R.J. Raccoon is the cool dude who always has a plan. Verne is the anal-retentive turtle who tries to be cool but always falls short. Sammy Squirrel is about five cans short of a six-pack and the rest of the critters all join to poke fun at the humans intruding into their environment.

    They’re making the strip into a movie. Bruce Willis has been signed to do the voice of R.J. Now that oughta be cool.
