5. Back in the day when smoking was still legal, it was common for urinals to have one or two cigarette butts in them. The “game” then would be to annihilate the butt. Shred all the paper off, blast the piss out of the tobacco. Leave nothing but a totally denuded filter and shards of tobacco and paper. It’s not the kind of thing you ask other people about, but I’m sure I’m not the only one who did this.

   This was, of course, back when I had higher bladder pressure…

7. Smoking is not actually illegal here, but it’s banned in most localities inside of public buildings, in many restaurants, etc. It’s only a matter of time…

   I’m kind of a libertarian on this issue. I used to smoke (that cigarette in my avatar is actually a rare occasional cig. I haven’t smoked regularly in over 15 years). And smoking in bars or outdoors doesn’t bother me. I will say, however, that smokers have brought much of the pariah status they endure upon themselves. They are pigs about it, leaving butts everywhere and thinking nothing of it. Case in point being the urinals. Some poor bastard has to fish those things out of there. (I guess I didn’t help matters by making shrapnel out of them!) And before things turned on them, they were generally pretty thoughtless about where they’d smoke and whom they’d smoke next to.

8. Geez, this reminds me of days long ago, when I was a kid, “machine gunning” soggy cigarette butts that were floating in the bowl… The non-filter stubs would usually disintegrate rather nicely…

   The “touch” screen should have icons of Hanoi Jane, CIndy Shitcan (AKA THe Bitch in the Ditch), Hillary, Slick Willie, Ozone Al, OBL, Ahmadamnutjob, and other “popular” targets.
   Make it a variation on “whack a mole”.

10. Yeah. Shredding butts in a urinal is a lot easier than ones in a toilet bowl. In a urinal they can’t swim away and it’s easier to pin them against something. In a bowl, you need to push them against the side and fire hose ‘em, and they’re always worming out of the way.

11. the ones in a toilet, thats what i call a bomb run, they become small taliban in boats, i find them quite easy to sink after a curry, the smoking ban is in social places, marty, not the whole of England, i dont know what i will miss most, the actual smoking, puffing smoke on someone enjoying a meal, or the toilet issue,
