You know, I can’t help but think that the reason everyone thinks Michelle is hot, is because they all think everyone else thinks she is hot and no one wants to disagree with with what they think is popular opinion. Kinda like when your boss tells and joke and everyone laughs, even though the joke totally sucked. Later, when everyone gets together they all tell each other how funny the boss is and what a great joke he told. Meanwhile, everyone, deep down inside, knows that the joke was stupid, but plays along because they don’t want to seem like the the odd man out.
Eventually, someone is going to come out and say that the boss’ joke sucked and a few others who are tired of upholding a pretense, will say something on the order of “Yeah, I thought the boss’s joke was stupid too, I just didn’t want to be the first one to say so”. Once everyone starts to compare notes, they will all realize that absolutely none of them liked the joke and the truth will finally come out. Kinda like that first date where you agree with everything your date says because you want to be liked and make a good first impression. Eventually, you have to be yourself and say when you don’t like something.
This is how the President and the first wookie are right now. It’s been a few dates now and slowyly, everyone is realizing that she ain’t all that. Once we all compare notes and start being honest, all of us will be of the consensus that the bitch it fugly. The honeymoon is over and it’s time to start being honest and admit it.

I couldn’t agree more. And while it isn’t fair to pick on her for her looks, which she can’t do a whole lot about,it is fair to criticize her lack of fashion sense. Come on, they’re rich, they have an army of top drawer assistants, all of Hollywood and every designer in the land would kill to give her free stuff and advice. You’d think she’d be better dressed than Jennifer Lopez and Coco Channel combined. But no, she brings the fug, everywhere. Her choice, but it’s my country she’s representing, paid elected official or not.
Oh come on now, You know and I know that the fashion world is ruled by rich old women and flaming gay men. Mystery solved.
I’ve seen a few of the “Star Wars” movies and I never once heard the Wookie refered to as glamorous.

As far as fashion - I have always felt that Ms Obama dresses like her girls - just like all liberals - never, ever wanting to leave HS (the best years of their life) behind. . .
Went shooting yesterday - Not my day shooting high and more and more po’d as the day went on. However the ballistic gel I made was the bomb & the videos (college projects for hubby & friend) were awesome). The future president shot my carbine for the first time - and got a bullseye (damn her little hide).
Mostly po’d over the estate saga - I finally crossed the line - and have po’d the ‘family’ to the point - I’ve heard from no one since Sept 20th - It’s finally dawned on me - that I must be the one whose gone bananas - as everyone seems po’d at me. Except that I find out that two little itty bitty things were done wrong (and that doesn’t even count with me being called as the possessions were being picked up by the auctioneer) - no one has gone through her 2009 financial files and two appraisals (of the same items) were presented together (tripling the estate value). . .And I’m NOT supposed to be po’d about that?
Well - FUBAR - I can’t go back to undo the past 9 years of my life - I’m sorry if being orphaned for the 2nd time in my life sucks and makes me a little sad and that having no income coming in - has us at home not doing a damn thing. So my life sucks - and I’m still supposed to be what - Lil Merry Sunshine? Never happened in my life - why the he!! should I start now?
Sorry to all for this rant - but it seems as though even if I try to be honest and deal with things - I end up being the one who is wrong and I no longer trust anyone in the family to vent to - so I have to dump it somewhere - before I really tell them to f-off and die. Which will really make me the scourge of the family.

Back again - yes (Jackie Kennedy II fantasy) it is what the Left wants - but that is because of the Cult of Personality that the media wallows in continually - and no politicians wife will ever be a Jackie Kennedy again - she never went into the gutter no matter what anyone in that family did - she is like Laura Bush in that they both had class.
BTW - do you know how much those Zanottis cost?!? Even back in the day when I wore shoes like that - never paid that much.

Yes I do know. I linked to a fairly cheap pair at $1300. I’ve seen some for $3500. And they sure do look better than those ghettotastic $600 gold and puce sneakers the KWB was wearing for that bread line photo op 2 years ago. I picked Zanotti over the similarly priced “common” Louboutins because I know that Carla wears both brands ($600 Louboutins in the pic!) but that Zanotti are more rarified. It can’t be real cutting edge fashion if just anybody can take a giant bag of money to any store and just buy them.

I still am marveling at the Klingon War Bride wearing a Hillary pantsuit (I mean even the terrible colors that the Hildabeast chooses) - What, she could not find a nice tan linen suit (that crap in the back is why I so hate polyester) with a fine white silk blouse - MY GOD she is the First Lady - She could wear such fine, fine clothes - [she does not have the body to do the little items Ms Bruni is wearing at all] but she could have done better.
