Stupid Democrat Tricks

 

1. We can hope that enough of us are aware (finally) that the donks will do nothing about oil prices except raise taxes as much and as often as they can.  “Recapture windfall profits” and “return them as a rebate to the people?” Hah!  Anything they capture, they will keep, and we all know it.

   Drill for more oil?  Build more refineries?  Seek energy autarky?  Not a chance.  Not these specimens.  To begin with, the welfare of cockroaches and mosquitoes is more important.....

2. You would THINK that the Democrats would be THRILLED at the prospect of higher prices because higher prices should lead to LOWER consumption and thus wean us from the dependency on oil, improve the air quality, punish the EVIL oil companies and make people stop driving the bunny-killing SUVs (I would add lead to global peace and cause a regrowth of hair to balding men but I think that I have made my point). Let it me known that I am not a fan of higher prices. Last time I filled my tank I bought a six-pack of cheap barley-pop it virtually consumed a C note. But I would much rather have the freedom to make the decision based on market forces.

   On a related note -assuming that the report was accurate- Nancy Pig Pelosi actually suggested giving back some of the highway funds designated for her state and defer projects in order to help fund the Katrina rebuild effort. Though it pains me to tip my hat to any liberal, especially one from CaliPornia, I do so.  Now if our benevolant pork cooking Uncles Ted and Don would just take the hint.

3. The LLL’s will NEVER cut taxes. That is against anything that they stand for - it’s the old ‘Robon Hood’ delusion - take from the people to give to the government.

   The first revolution was about high and unfair taxes. Time for another one?

4. The big problem here would be the tree-huggers who won’t let us drill up in ANWR, off the coast of California, in Lake Michigan, or along the Gulf Coast. 

   I guess that and they have to pay off their terrorist buddies.

5. I believe they stopped drilling a few years ago, due in large part to the tree huggersliving down there.

   Can’t they just leave us the hell alone while they live in their mudhuts and forage for berries?
