Drew - you take pride in your work. I don’t know what they’re paying you, but you deserve every penny - and probably more.
I’ll 2nd Steamboat on that Drew.
Rags? Use old newspaper. Doesn’t streak and doesn’t leave black print anywhere but on your gloved hands. You should be wearing them.
I agree with the guys Drew. Wish the previous owners here had done a couple less cosmetic jobs and when the basement leaked - fixed it properly - now in addition to the A/C - we will have to come up with the money to dig down - seal the outside and then repave the driveway. But I guess there are just some priorities that are more important than others. Most especially when you are flipping a house (and here I thought that they were selling their first and only home - how silly of me).
Newspaper will leave the ink behind, depending on your cleaning solution. What it does leave is lint.
Newspaper bad. Unger microfiber wipes good.
Damnation, I’m still at it. I have at least another 2 days left on this place. Man did I underbid this job.
No matter how carefully you calculate you ALWAYS underbid large jobs. In your mind you think it through and the shortcuts and easy areas you think are there simply never materialize. Like them damn shrubs and shit. I just spent 4 days last month simply trimming my folks shrubs and that was a time eating endeavor. But now I go over twice a month and bob them all to maintain things. But thats an after deal that rarely happens with outside jobs.I guess thats a good thing though as it would pretty much kill another visit in the future unless you can persuade them to sign on to a lovely lil service contract, nudge nudge wink wink,,
