  1. Saw Leno, very classy end to his monolog.

Didn’t watch Letterman.  Did he do something similiar?

  2. There is something to be said for the British ‘stiff upper lip’.  Good for them, especially knowing deep inside they had to be nervous.

I’m glad to hear Leno had something nice to say.  I don’t know if it’s age or what, but I no longer find those guys’ making fun of everyone (mostly conservatives) funny.  I can stand Jon Stewart’s monologue about five minutes, and then have to switch channels when he goes for the interviews.  He can’t interview worth a damn.  Always turns the subject back onto himself for a laugh and too frequently leaves his guests dangling.  ugh.  Did like his tantrum on Tucker Carlson’s show, though.

Did anyone notice how rattle Tony Blair was in a later speech at the G8?  He is undoubtably one of the world’s best speakers, but he was pausing and struggling as he spoke.  My heart went out to him.

P.S.  Why doesn’t the Japanese president get a normal haircut?  yeesh.

  3. Steel upper lip is more like it. Al Queda is chicken feed compared to Hitler. The IRA has blown up a lot more people. TONY BLAIR FOR GOVERNOR OF TEXAS!!!
