  1. There’s always a big push for flu shots, from people who couldn’t care less if I die from the flu or not.  I’ll pass, again.

  2. I’ve had them every year for some time now and haven’t had any bad reactions. Or the flu.

I do think different meds act differently on various ppl.
For example ... what could there possibly be in Valium that could keep you awake at night?

I used to take it for occasional insomnia and it worked just fine.  Wife was having a problem sleeping so she took one of mine and was up most of the night.

I think our bodies metabolize drugs differently. And not only drugs.

Imagine being allergic to peanut butter. A fate worse than death. Hmmm, that’s a bit extreme but then ... that’s me all over.

  3. You’re allergic to peanut butter, but you can hang out with the nuts here? Amazing!

  4. OMG! I’m allergic to peanut butter? I just finished off one jar and opened a new one. Uh oh. Too late. Can’t breatheā€¦ (thud!)

  6. Never had a flu shot. Never had a bout with flu either. 50 years now, I think its a racket. grin

  7. Took a flu shot once while I was a dutiful Army wife (being preggos most of my young adult life - kept a lot of the insanity at bay) - got horribly sick. Never took another one.

I took the pneumonia shot in 2007 - since my son is a burn survivor and I have had pneumonia twice (serious both times, yuck) only real reason - but have been attempting to avoid all the other ‘healthcare’ (pleeeze I want to go back to medical care) nonsense.

At least the newest Doc listened - she will probably be our Doc for ten seconds.
