  1. Oh this is priceless. Had almost the same thing happen at a pizzeria I managed in Tx years back....but the perp never pulled out a weapon and went out quietly....must have had second thoughts.

Say, have you passed this along to Kim? I think he is keeping an ongoing goblin count...and this would make his day.

  2. No I haven’t passed it anywhere, feel free to pass it on yourself. Have heard that G. W. Bush is your neighbor now.

  3. Hrm… .22 target pistol, fired wildly -vs.- cop, gun shop owner, and other obviously well-trained gun owners (as shown by the fact that the perp was the only one hurt)(ALTHOUGH half the shots did miss...).

Sounds like the Darwin winner for sure.

  4. I didn’t know they made 10mm cartriges. Interesting.

  6. Sounds like the latest trend:  Suicide by cop.  I watched a cop chase live on TV a few years ago that started in LA and ended at the Mexican border with the perp getting out of his car and drawing on about 20 cops who aired him out good.  They concluded that he wanted to die; thus “suicide by cop.”

Yes, Dac, the 10mm has been around for about 20 years now; I *think* Sig-Sauer was the first one to make it.  I remember Don Johnson’s character on Miami Vice used one in the later episodes of the show back in the late ‘80’s.  It delivers roughly the same muzzle energy of a .357 magnum, my favorite man stopper (with 128 gr JHP) in hand gun form.
