5. Sorry to hear about your dog. We know what it’s like losing a friend like that. Lots of ppl don’t understand the bond.

   Re. the dog walking the ppl. Yeah. I can relate to that.  A cousin had an Akita. Beautiful animal and overly friendly. I used to walk him for her. My cousin. Dog bigger then she was. And most often, he walked me. Powerful animals. 

   One of the crap things about aging I guess.  With lousy knee and left ankle, leaving aside any other aches and imagined pains, walking a Malamute (or any dog) as often as they need to be walked, is out of the cards.  We see folks here passing the house in all sorts of weather, even driving rain, walking a dog. Cos of course, the dog doesn’t care.
