Speaking of guns … some bad news?

Of course the .50 cartridge is secure! It does what it does too well! I really want to see this weapon though. I liked the 60, they replaced it with the 240. I’ll be glad to see the back of the 16, if they’ll just do the SCAR or the MASADA. In 6.8 SPC or this new x43. The x43 is based on the 5.56 case, so if we just go to a 416 upper for 16s it will be a greatly elongated life for that system, at minimal cost.

If the new weapon is half the weight with less recoil it can’t use the same ammo as the M2. It may be a 50 but it will have to be a different cartridge. The laws of physics can’t be violated.
