  2. In a pc magazine published here they had an article about an American company called Blue Frog (I think) that were trying to stop spam by sending it back to the sender with a warning. It was massiveley popular and it worked for a while till they got threats from punk as Russian scum who threatened to blackmail them. I have to say I am using Outlook with the filters on which seem to eliminate the dross, but it still aggravates me that we are subjected to this unsolicited crap from deadbeats. Does anyone ever respond? I just can’t see that it works as an advertising method.

  3. [begin sarcasm]

It’s a CONSPIRACY, man!  Yahoo is actually doing all the spamming so they can sell you their advanced “filter” software—which really doesn’t do any filtering because they just route all the spam they generated directly to the appropriate mailbox folder!  It’s an EVILZIONISTCAPITALIST conspiracy!

    [/sarcasm off]

  6. I have the same problem with yahoo and have for years. My story is similar to yours; I have a personal account only known to family yet every year I get boat loads of every crap email under the sun. In short, them pointy headed nimrod comp geeks @ yah00 are selling everyone’s personal info to any slick with a data base and bot script.

I like your place here, Skipper. I ‘borrow’ stuff from here all the time (with appropriate credit due). Keep up the good work.

  7. My garbage on Yahoo has gone down - I ask no questions of my hubby and can’t open most video links I get sent (go do it on the daughter’s computer) but after losing everything I had and frying a hard drive - I don’t open and am glad that whatever computer magic he mastered - it works. . .

Having said that - my Yahoo account (which is my public one) fills up way faster than my personal one.

  8. I absolutely refuse to have a yahoo, msn or hotmail account.  Just junk collectors as far as I can see.  The account I use through my cable company has thus far been junk free for almost a year.  However, a previous cable company told us right up front that they were going to sell our email address UNLESS we sent in a certain form that was filled out entirely and properly.  I sent the form in.  They sold it anyway.  It was collecting 400 or so junk mails per day the last time I looked.

  9. And speaking of Viagra (and every other thing out there that they try to sell for men), I figured that if every one of those “enhancements” worked, it would be 16 feet long by now and still growing.  My mortgage company would be paying me to live in my house for all the money I was saving, and I would have 10,000 women fighting each other to date me.  What a crock of crap.

  10. Ghet you-r Vi A --gr a from me! I am a Nig e--ria_n Docthor. You cen tru s tt me, Honest!

Who the hell would buy anything from these sites with all that bullshit spelling?

Skip, these guys must use random generators. Start with and go to , toss in some numbers and capitalizations, and eventually everyone’s e-mail will get spammed.
