  1. Merry Christmas!  Everyone should be able to rent a 3-year-old for Christmas Morn.  I have my Grandson.

(I believe I’ve already shared this but....)

Do you know why Jolly Old Santa is so jolly?

Because he knows where all the bad girls live.

    (He certainly has AnnoyingLittleTwerp’s number)

    Love Guy/Oink pig

  2. I got everything I wanted by seeing the smiles on my daughters faces as they opened their bounty of presents - not from Santa, but simply from “Dad”.  (My daughters know where the cool stuff comes from.)

My eldest daughter is 8, and I got her some MegaBlok kits (less expensive version of Lego) of an Air Force Warthog, and one that will take her a few days to build:  The U.S.S. Nimitz.

I also had some really nice pictures of the Nimitz to show her from the U.S. Navy site, and some of coverage from the GrouchyMedia site to show her the good things that the soldiers are accomplishing over in Iraq.

My daughter’s learning that the U.S. Forces are the good guys, and heros to look up to.  We’re gonna have so much fun when she runs into a leftist anti-war teacher at school.  *smirks*

An added bonus for me for Christmas was being able to read about Donald Rumsfeld’s visit to the hospital in Mosul, and his encounter with a wounded soldier who full on stood up for Rumsfeld:

A Must Read Email From an American Soldier

    Choked me up, it did…

    Merry Christmas everyone!  grin

  3. To Allan and Vilmar and the rest of the BMEWS Coalition of Nationalism, I wish you all and yours a very Merry Christmas.

On Wednesday, Dec 29th, I leave our great nation to start a new life in New Zealand with my wife-to-be, BMEWS member Apathy or Freedom.  As BMEWS ambassadors down under, we will continue to spread the word of the dangers of consorting with leftists and other ass-hat moonbats.  So if I miss posting on New Years, I wish you all a Happy New Year in advance, and may God bless you all.

  4. The best gift I got was an email from a
very good lady friend that I had not heard
from in 8 months. Her work puter was kickin’
me out as spam and I had changed ISPs.
    A most wonderful gift.

Merry Christmas guys, and to all of your
    members hereon as well.

    And a Happy New Year.

  6. Merry Christmas Allan & Vilmar & every member of BMEWS!!  As I had to work today (goes with the nursing territory!), we had our Christmas celebration Friday.  My family was together for the first time in 7 years- I had a C. tree for the first time in as many years also.  I had forgotten what it was like to have a toddler (my grand-daughter Helena is 2 1/2) in the house for Christmas- there was paper & ribbons everywhere! Helena met her Uncle Mike (my Navy son) for the first time & took to him immediately - he got down on the floor & played with her like a kid himself (he’s 31).........We had a wonderful time, took lots of pictures, had good food & just enjoyed being together..........Family is what the holidays are all about!

  7. Oh, BTW, I was nice & received some neat gifts- I got a DVD player (something I would not have gone out & bought for myself)........S***- now I have to go buy some DVD’s...........
For BobF- no snow here in St. Louis - just freezing cold- altho today it warmed up to about 30 degrees & we are supposed warm up to the 40’s this coming week..........Hope you have a safe trip back!

  8. Hey Dottie!

No need to buy DVDs.  Just join Netflix.  Play it right and you can rent DVDs for about $1.25 each.  Plus you can catch up on old TV programs you may have missed or older movies you never watched.

  9. Amazingly enough I DIDN’T get coal-or any anti-shark video’s. I DID get Bath and Body Works stuff-including a cute little ski-jacket wearing stuffed animal(a little fox)
Me being me- proceeded to carry said fox around and in a squeaky voice kept repeating"Don’t hunt me.”
I also got mocs, a wooden trash bin(I asked for one), Tupperware, and Hubby took a print I had gotten for my 30th b-day-in 2000 and framed it for me.
    I got Mike a “metro-sexual grooming kit.”
    No-he’s not.
The BOY made out like a bandit-several “Medal of Honor” games for the PlayStation 2, a suction-cup cross bow from us etc.
I’m the official family baker and I’ve been baking non-stop since Weds. Our Christmas dinner is tomm and I left my inlaws early to finish up the desserts(Kahlua Chocolate pound cake and Pumpkin Cake with cream cheese glaze) I’m so glad the temps are warming-up-upper 50’s by Thurs-because though I’m trim, after all this baking I’m ready for a looooong walk. sick

  10. My Christmas was made good…

Had a visit from a young Marine who I haven’t seen in a couple years. Known him since he was 9 years old. He’s done two deployements to Iraq as what ever the Marine version of an 11Bravo is.(infantry rifleman for those unfimilar with the term, honorable profession)

The first one as the pointy end of the stick during the liberation and this last one in Fallusia where he lost eight buddys in one bomb attack. The youg Marine being crucified in the media for doing his job and making sure a terrorist went home to Allah was in his squad earlier.

Yea, he’s seen the worst and the best. Kicked ass and taught kids to speak English (he now speaks Arabic), sent some terrorist to hell and rebuild people houses. You know the typical US GI thing…

I can’t put in words how good it was to see him or the strength of his hug, but mostly how proud I am of this boy who’s turned into a strong competent man.

You can look in his eyes and see what he’s been through, he’s earned the right to say with out question or comment what ever he wants about this war in Iraq.

What he told me in a quite, gentle, strong voice, “We’re there for those who want to live free of fear, yea it’s rough but it’s the right thing. I don’t want to go back there until this is over, but I will if thats what’s needed, I’m proud of what we’re trying to do over there, besides I’m a United States Marine and that’s my job.”

Semper Fi Andy and Thanks for being the Best Christmas Gift…
