I can’t imagine Kerry and Boxer being in charge of anything. What an embarrassing, nightmarish thought of those two running the country. There has to be a deeper reason for them to collaborate on this, like being able to say… “See what happened… We didn’t vote for her.”

Once upon a time I had a list of quotes from various moonbats (including Fuckface and Boxer, the Yenta-tainer - wasn’t that an Oscar-winning performance?) wherein there was overwhelming concensus that Saddam was a clear and present danger....back in 1998, when Clinton thought so...Politics in the US, truly a Cult of Personality.
I get very irate when I hear people who think they understand war and combat but don’t have a clue about either. If one has never been in a fist fight, let alone a fire fight, then their opinion on war and combat has no validity whatsoever. OK, everyone! Pay Attention!
The inauguration is set by the 20th Amendment to the Constitution ....
Amendment XX
Section 1. The terms of the President and Vice President shall end at noon on the 20th day of January, and the terms of Senators and Representatives at noon on the 3d day of January, of the years in which such terms would have ended if this article had not been ratified; and the terms of their successors shall then begin.
Therefore, the President MUST be sworn in at noon on the 20th. For this reason, VP Cheney will be sworn in at 11:45am EST and President Bush will be sworn in at noon (EST).
