1. Anonymous - I like it - the cartoon is wrong too it should be the American taxpayer tied to the soldier over the flame being turned by the ‘pork’ pig and dnc donkey - more appropos.

2. I do not believe a veto is going to be necessary - as this piece ‘o crap legislation will never get out of the Senate in its current form.
   With the publicity given to it by bloggers alone, the Dhimmicrats in the Senate could never muster to 60 votes to invoke cloture to vote on it.

3. If the dims really wanted to make a difference, they would pass legislation that would ban adding earmarks to bills.  Of course, we know that will never happen.  Too bad the repugs didn’t do it either when they had power and could have made changes like that.  (Strike 1) Should have passed a permanent line item veto as well.  (Strike 2) The best thing would have been to control themselves fiscally.  Oops (Strike 3 and they’re out).  How long is it going to take for the dims to strike out?

   We really are needing to have a 3rd team that is capable of doing things right.
