3. *dons flame suit*

   If hubby gets his wish we’ll be moving to NAS Jax soon, where he’ll be working on P-3s (quite a bit of irony after his submarine service… )

   Actually got to see his aircraft of choice yesterday at the NAS Oceana air show, along with his all time favorite the A-10 Warthog, which they’re talking about tweaking so they can keep it around and killing tanks for another 20 yrs…

4. Severa (yep, 1230 and power STILL on)

   I was stationed at the American Embassy in Lisbon, Portugal and part of my job was to help negotiate the sale of P-3 aircraft to the Portuguese Air Force for use in ASW work.  Met lots of very nice Navy types working with contractors in Jax and GS-12/14 types in D.C.
