  1. Wasn’t he all “kissy-kissy” in public with Monica before that scandal broke?

Posted by Macker    United States   06/25/2005  at  08:08 AM

  2. No.  Q.E.D.

Posted by Tannenberg    United States   06/25/2005  at  09:17 AM

  3. The hat is to keep us from seeing the five bald spots on her head.

We’ve already had as many as two “first dykes” if rumor and inuendo is to be believed, OCM.

  4. Quite apart from that, a popular knave is still a knave, and if this man can be classified as a “gentleman” in even the most elastic sense, then every prison in the country is overrun with tuxes and tails.

  5. DOes anyone really believe that ole slick would pass up a chance to tongue any female within reach of him??  And I agree Macker, didn’t Monica start out the same way. Once a slick willy, always a slick willy I say.

  6. And if George was caught in a similiar circumstance, the dummycraps would be calling for his resignation and the femanazis would be having cows all over the place. But of course, this is ole slick!!

Posted by texman0000    United States   06/25/2005  at  12:29 PM

  7. I am sure he could whip Jr’s, but with what????????? His tongue? A ‘flavored’ cigar?

The guy has the moral fiber of an alley cat. The point is not that he could of and did, many men do the same. The point is that he could of and shouldn’t have for that particular circumstance and did anyway. The critter has NO self control. Those without self control should not operate high horsepower vehicles, firearms or national governments.

  8. Agreed, Hobo, completely.

  9. I wouldn’t call getting 43% of the votes an “ass kicking”, OCM. Remember that Ross Perot had a very large effect in that election and slick should be eternally grateful.

Posted by StinKerr    United States   06/25/2005  at  08:21 PM

  10. Right, Stin, but I’ll bet my bottom dollar that Slick is grateful only to Slick.  He is one of that sociopathic breed who believe that the entire universe is all about themselves.  Unless we redound to the greater glory of Slick, we are nothing to him, and that includes Ross Perot.

  11. Of course, it’s his due ... or so he thinks. It would seem that he has had the golden horseshoe (whore’s shoe?) up his tuches all his political life. That and the willingness to prevaricate and just plain lie convincingly has carried him a long way. I guess that’s called political skill.

Posted by StinKerr    United States   06/25/2005  at  08:39 PM

  12. Perhaps if he gets the Constitution amended his next campaign slogan can be “eatin’ ain’t cheatin’ and out of town don’t count”.

Posted by StinKerr    United States   06/25/2005  at  08:43 PM

  13. True enough, Stin, and there are (unfortunately) those who admire him for such skills--which happened to carry others much farther.

In fact, they carried one politician to a hangman’s noose in Italy, and another to a Viking funeral in Berlin, and yet another to assassination in Baton Rouge.  Still another was damned lucky to get out of Buenos Aires with a whole skin.  And the list goes on--

  14. Yep, two terms, and still didn’t get 50% of the votes on the 2nd election. He owes Perot for that one too. I will give him credit for putting Congress in the hands of the Repubs for the first time in 40 years.

How about a slick, silver, forked tongue?

Is Kosovo a quagmire yet? We’ve still got troops there on what he said wouid be no more than a one year deployment...........

Posted by StinKerr    United States   06/26/2005  at  08:39 AM

  15. Why?  Is yours in the way?

Posted by Tannenberg    United States   06/26/2005  at  09:20 AM

  16. The question has been asked and answered before.

In brief, I’m independent. I’d prefer better choices from both parties. I believe in voting a split ticket to set them to watching each other, cause I can’t watch the bastards all the time.

I’d have liked a chance to consider Joe Lieberman last go ‘round. I believe a moderate like Lieberman could have won but the shrieking wild eyed extremist minority would have none of him.

I hover around that crack in the middle you’re so fond of, OCM. On some things I’m to the right and on other things I’m on the left of it. I think of myself as a right leaning moderate and those cute little internet tests show me to be left leaning libertarian. The truth is somewhere in the middle.

One thing I can’t abide is a liar. I have been lied to by both sides, but the most agregious lies seem to come constantly from the left. Some might call it spin.

Let me give an example: There was a Congresscritter on C-SPAN a while ago and she said that “Bush cut funding to the Veteran’s Administration”. As a vet myself, I was furious. It turns out though that Bush actually increased spending on the VA. He didn’t increase the funding as much as was originally requested so technically he cut the increase of funding but he actually increased the funding to record spending on the VA. Now, was that Congresscritter lying? I think so.

Posted by StinKerr    United States   06/26/2005  at  11:46 AM

  17. Yeah, the media gets it wrong all the time. In my example, though it was the morning C-SPAN show, “Washington Journal” and the speaker was a Congresscritter who was either being interviewed or was debating someone else on the show. This wasn’t “filtered” by anybody. It’s just that she was a bomb thrower and was throwing lies bombs.

Yeah, I read Kim du Toit a lot. You could do worse than read some of his essays too. For anyone who hasn’t read him here’s the link to get you started. His essay on Africa is imformative, if a bit hard-hitting. His “Pussification of America” is good too. Lots of good stuff there. Oh and gun  gun  gun  gun , lots of gun  gun  gun

  18. This must be some kind of a record.  Twenty-five comments wasted on a slipshod old sod.

    Phew!  Pearls before swine.

    LOL

Posted by Tannenberg    United States   06/26/2005  at  06:01 PM

  19. That’s no way to talk about OCM, Tann. We’re educating him to the light of the truth. He’s been bamboozled by the dark side too long. I think it’s worth it. wink

Posted by StinKerr    United States   06/26/2005  at  07:15 PM

  20. I agree, Stin, and anyway, I think we both know that I wasn’t referring to OCM.

    wink

Posted by Tannenberg    United States   06/26/2005  at  07:24 PM

  21. Yeah, but I couldn’t resist the opportunity to pull his tail and your leg with one post. grin

Posted by StinKerr    United States   06/26/2005  at  07:32 PM

  22. You’re a good man, Stin.  Keep up the good work.  wink

Posted by Tannenberg    United States   06/26/2005  at  07:36 PM

  23. TY, Tann. You set a good example.

Posted by StinKerr    United States   06/26/2005  at  07:42 PM

  24. I appreciate that very much, Stin.  I try.  But if it wasn’t for this blog, neither of us would know that the other exists.  That is the foremost value of a blog like this, as I see it.  It is difficult enough in this world to find fellow feeling among a host of people who grow increasingly faceless, day after day.  Never enough time.  Never enough social activities.  Never enough places to meet, relax, and actually get to know someone without something tugging at your elbow, competing for your attention.

I’ll take this chance to thank Allan for giving us this “get-together” ground, and I hope that more of us will avail ourselves of the opportunity it presents.

    wink
