  1. Ann Margaret is 2nd only to Maureen O’Hara as Queen of the Redheads!

I recently saw an episode of “Jack Benny” that featured her in her 1st television appearance. Quite a voice too.

  2. Moj .. Did you ever see Lucille Ball in her 20s? What a surprise for someone like me who only knew her as Lucy on TV. WOW!
Not long ago I found (but wasn’t looking)a video on a YT. Ball was on it. She was not the feature but only a dancer among many other dancers. This was before she made a name for herself. Anyway, WOW again. And what legs.

Maureen O’Hara!  Right. How’d I forget her? A senior moment. Thanks for the reminder. See what happens with age?

  3. Lucille Ball appears in a Three Stooges short “Three Little Pigskins” as a moll. She’s young and blonde, and looks good.

Somewhat off topic. I used to work with a woman whose husband played for the L.A. Rams just after they married. Their quarterback was married to Jayne Russell (who had just made “The Outlaw” 1943) She had pictures of them all hanging out around the pool and on vacation together. The team was also often used as extras (they could use the work with what they made back then) and she had a picture of Lucille Ball sitting up on the shoulders of some of the football players on the set of a movie.

    Speaking of football...Go Patriots!!

  5. We’ll see Drew! I live about a mile and a half from Gillette Stadium in Foxborough! Though for some reason it shows up as the neighboring Wrentham, Ma on your “cities online” listing.

My Dad was a Giants fan prior to the Pats creation in 1960, so we all root for them too (unless it’s against New England). I’ve made the trip down to the old Meadowlands for a couple of games over the years.

    Pats 31-17

  8. Damn, and I had the points too, until the last 25 seconds when they stopped playing and let the Splats score a freebie.
