Even government BLS and DOJ data say that the vast, VAST majority of gun cases involve an innocent citizen using their gun in self-defense—whether the assailant is killed or simply scared. Hence, the “minority of cases” are actually the ones where some lunatic uses his weapon(s)to do violent crime. This isn’t rhetoric or debate; the statistics and data are overwhelming and conclusive. Any objective, pragmatic review of the facts will show that guns are used defensively FAR more often than they are used offensively.

Maybe I can’t use a firearm cause of the idiotic laws that restrict their possession by honest people, but every criminal family in North Dublin and South Limerick has an arsenal that would make the Irish defense Forces envious. But if it comes to it the baseball bats, hurlies and Ka-Bar fighting knives come out of the closet.

   And I’ll worry about the idiot Mick’s legal system afterwards.

   In 2004 I visited your island and had the time of my life.  Wonderful people,wonderful place.  But you know fuck all about Rights.  You have permissions granted by your nanny state government, which took your firearms away years ago.  In my opinion you should stay out of Americas business especially when it comes to the UN which most Americans despise.  Enjoy hosting the Olympics and stay the hell out of this debate.  You have no dog in this fight.  You pussied out long ago and your opinions are not relevant.
