Soggy Sunday

 

1. Happy surprise to see the Danziger cartoon.  Some yrs ago I bought his book, Rising Like The Tucson, and enjoyed it very much.  He is somewhat liberal quite often, and never was a friend of Bush. But ... his work was never less then brilliant even when I didn’t agree with all of it.  Exchanged a few emails before moving here to UK. He is a likable. Even when he made me wince.

2. Happy surprise to see the Little Feat video. One of my favorite tunes by one of my favorite groups.

   I’d add Joe Cocker to the list of artists that sucked on vinyl but rocked in concert.

3. Tex ... But he did a bang up job on “The Letter” Didn’t he? I recall that getting a lot of air time too.
