   If you want to really see outrageous - look into a gov paid receipt - the Jazzy electric (convertible to hand push) wheel chair that ‘rehab’ (TIRR - the place Gifford went to) demanded that my son got cost a cool 7 grand to the taxpayers. I pleaded with them not to order it but rather a push chair, as I knew he wasn’t going to go back to school immediately. No go - so we had to wait 6 months to order a collapsible wheelchair. Yes this monstrosity does covert to a push wheel chair - it just doesn’t collapse. So I had bruises on my shins from hefting that pos in & out of the van. And it’s been sitting in a closet until he finally decides to go to college.  Gov healthcare is a huge rip off to the taxpayers.

   We did however fix the idiocracy with the SSI - they must require abject stupidity to be hired to gov civilian jobs - which might explain why neither my hubby or I have gotten one.
