Smoking ban poses new climate threat

I am not gonna comment on this absolute screwy, stupid lunacy suggested by ppl who have their collective heads so far up their arse they can see the back of their eyeballs.
I prefer to keep my opinions to myself.  But should anyone ask, see above.

  1. The only way to truely reduce man-made CO2 and other greenhouse gass emissions is for humans to die off.

Are we REALLY committed to stopping Glowball Warmening, peepul? Okay, then let’s all do ourselves in, humanely, of course, and be done with it! Ready, get set,…

    bark bark

Wonder how much greehouse gas a decomposing windbag releases?

  2. Hey Peiper, can I submit a bid? Bet I could build a smoking enclosure for any given size patio that would keep out the cold and rain, let in some fresh air, hold up to yob abuse and not add 1 gram of CO2 to the atmosphere. And I’d do it for a fair price too. Sounds to me like some silly person (who’s grandmother smelled of elderberries) just grabbed the first thing that came to mind - kerosene patio heaters - and mandated that as the solution.

  3. hundreds of thousands of tons of additional carbon dioxide into the atmosphere

Now, when I was taking high school chemistry and physics, I was told that one atmosphere of pressure is equal to about 14.7 psi (that’s pounds-per-square-inch for you Democrat high-school drop-outs).

With all of this additional weight allegedly being spewed into the atmosphere, shouldn’t we be feeling it by now?  blah-blah

  4. These guys are like someone who knocks out your teeth and then gets mad at you for mumbling.  After a fashion there is a parallel with Global Warming.  After years of tighter and tighter smog controls and efficiency as well, to the point that internal combustion engines are barely a significant source of hydrocarbons, the Goracle and company say we can’t even emit the CO2 that is the signature of an efficient burning process.  When you comply with one, they come after you with another based on what you had to do to comply with the first.

  5. We call that ‘moving the goalposts’ Doc!

Don’t worry, if we all went back to riding horses, the EPA would be all over us for the extra poop in the streets. If we became a world of pedestrians then we’d hear about how some poor group is being taken advantage of for making lots of shoes. You can’t win. It’s like all these cancer studies - no matter what you do or what you eat, it causes cancer.
