2 months and still going strong. I even gave away my perfectly aged hi-end cigars.
I had a bladder probe about 20 years ago. The doctor did a routine urine test and he said there was blood in my urine so off to the specialist (Urologist). I had another quick urine test and was given a pill (later found to be Valium), ushered into a dark room and ordered by nurse Ratchet to remove my clothes and put on that blue, paper gown.
It was then I noticed the table with stirrups. Nurse Ratchet positioned me on the table with my naked butt in the air. Doc enters with what appeared to be the old fashioned “SKUBA” mask and rubber apron. In his hand he held what appeared to be a fire hose.
OH OH!!
Yup, without a word or smile he proceeded to slip that thing up the old pee-hole. Can’t say it hurt bad, but can’t say it was comfortable either. It felt exactly like someone was sticking an extra wide, 3 foot long pipe cleaner up there.
After about 10 minutes (It seemed like 4 hours) He slid it out and muttered: “Nothing serious, looks like you have an infection. You’ll probably pass some blood when you urinate for the next 3 or 4 days and it’ll be tender. I’ll prescribe some anti-biotic.”
It was then I remembered the stories when I was in the military about the umbrella treatment for Syphilis. Those stories were enough to make your pee-pee disappear into your stomach. Google it, I don’t have time to explain that procedure now.
Anyway all was well and in a week’s time I was back to 100%
