Your Miele shit the bed?
Oh hella no!! The Twist doesn’t leave the comforts of home, ever.
No, I have a little side job on weekends, cleaning a couple of doctor’s offices. I’ve been using a Eureka Boss upright for that, and after about 4 years it died. The job is tough on vacs, going in and out of the trunk, getting dragged across the parking lot, up and down office stairs, etc. And this one had been fading away for some time. So I got online, ordered a new one from Amazon, and they delivered it in 4 days, free shipping. When new, the Boss seems self propelled because the brush roller grabs the carpet that hard. Zoom!!
Surprised it lasted as long as it did. You should be able to write it off as a business expense on your taxes, anyway.

Had dinner with the founder of Weber Grills. Nice guy. He says the Genesis is the best they make.
That’s awesome Balaams! We looked at the specs, and we realized that this model of the Genesis - the one with the sear burner, which is adjustable - is pretty much the same level of performance as their 4 burner $1400 Summit model, only without all the silly bits, like light up knobs and a digital fuel gauge on the front panel. For just over half the price. And the cooking area is just 2” narrower than on the Summit, though it’s still more than big enough for us. Too bad they don’t have a middle model: sear burner alone, lose the side burner. We’d buy that one in a flash.
CenTex - thanks!
“RRWH” - you betcha, I write everything off. I do so enjoy sending in my tax forms every year and paying 3% fed tax and 0% to the state.
