they keep right on believing it, year after year.
And trust me, I read about it every single damn day. They truly do not understand but spout anti-gun anti-American BS like they have some personal knowledge. Pisses me off every single time. I just can’t sluff it off cos it’s so damn tiresome. I even get angry thinking about it. And what do I read this morning in the papers? More killings here by knife. A young mother went to a neighbor at 2 am asking them to please turn down their party music. Another young woman stabbed her and she bled to death before help arrived.
And it’s almost every damn day you read things like this. But our critics would have ppl believe America holds the copyright to violence due to guns. And btw, the criminals here do have them.I have my CCL and wonder still - if I actually can pull the trigger to save my life. I have ‘offed’ several groundhogs in the backyard and wonder still - if I could pull the trigger to kill to eat. I do not run around looking for someone to shoot, I pray I never have to be in that position. What has been positive about getting the CCL is that I no longer walk around like a victim with my head down and afraid to look anyone in the eye. And that has been worth it.
On a similar note our local (quite local, township) LEOs are having a raffle - the prize is a gun. I admit, I wasn’t prepared and had given my standard ‘out of work spiel’ - so when he dropped the prize I didn’t ask what kind. I will be taking some cash to the police station to buy at least one ticket. At a time when many big cities are holding gun ‘buy back, no questions asked programs’ - our little slice of hell on earth is offering a gun for a fraction of the price! Gotta love America!
