  1. OH. Right.  Just like last time the Israelis LET them have a bomb.  Sheeesh.

Just like the Israelis are NOT going to let them have a bomb this time.  Count on it.

  2. These animated fossils just never learn.

  3. They don’t learn and they won’t think.

India and Pakistan both reached nuclear capabiilty at about the same time, I think that was the main reason for their cooling off the war which seemed ready to break out between them.

Cooler heads in both governments seem to have actually considered what a nuclear exchange would mean for both of them.

I believe that they reached the same conclusion that other nuclear powers had reached before them. There would be no winners, just possible survivors.

Just what do these Iranian idiots think they’re going to do with a nuke?

It would appear to me that they haven’t considered the consequences of using such a weapon.

  4. Actually, the Iranians have considered the consequences. They’ve already said publicly that the Muslim world would be “damaged” while Israel would be destroyed.

Ya, RIGHT. The Mullah WANT people to DIE as long as the Jews are annihilated. Only problem is...it ain’t gonna be the Jews who go down.

  5. The Israelis will not let it happen.  They take no sh*t.  Remember Entebbe?  I’m sure Bush rests easy knowing Israel is our friend.  Good friend to have.

  6. IIRC, the US recently sold a number of “bunker buster” bombs to Israel, and supposedly Iran’s nuclear development is going on undergroud.

    2+2=?????

  7. Mightn’t be long before we know how “4” is written in the sand....

    wink

  8. ...in glass.

There are those who have their knickers in a wad because of the supposed development of nuclear bunker busters. I understand that a great deal of time was consumed at the recent non proliferation conference trying to stop this development as opposed to stopping the development of nukes by presently non nuke capable powers.

The Iranian sites are so far underground that the possibility of reaching them with conventional bunker busters is pretty slim. They were, after all, built with conventional abilities in mind.

  9. Stin, they sound like good places to conceal certain undiscovered or missing “conventionals” from next door, if you take my meaning.....?

    cool smirk

  10. Entirely possible, Tann. Of course, conventional thought and some satellite pics show a lot of traffic going to Syria.

Saddam Insane did send much of his air force to Iran for safekeeping before GW-1. I don’t believe they gave any of it back afterwards. I never really understood that move, unless it was a case of preferring to see it in a former enemy’s hands rather than have it destroyed. I suppose the same could apply to his “research” programs.

  11. I am totally in favor of taking out whatever Iranian nuke programs that exist, by whatever means necessary. If it needs to be done by proxy, AKA the bombing of underground facilities by individuals unknown, so be it.

If it happens in a more direct manner, so much the better.

  12. CIA agents and members of Mossad were in the news a few months ago allegedly having been ‘caught’ spying in Iran.  Well, shucks.  Does anyone think we and Israel might not know what is going on?  FOX had a show on tonight about Iran, and it was so hyped.  I turned it off.  I feel secure that things will take care of themselves and that plans are already made and waiting.

  13. It could have been worse, Phoenix. It could have been Geraldo instead of Chris Wallace.

Imagine Rivera doing his Walter Winchell impersonation while getting the his facts all wrong.

  14. Yahoo for the Mossad. The CIA could learn a few things from them…
