On one hand-my “baby” was 20Ft!
That means the protection is working.
On the other hand- killing it will make Barb cry.
Btw-That attack sounds more like whitey.
I rarely hear of 20 ft. “tigs”
Whiteys are more likely to get that big.
The authorities need to ask the witnesses if the water got dead silent before the attack.
Survivors of G.W. attacks have commented that the water got silent and EVERYTHING seemed to disappear moments before the attack.
No I DON’T think they should kill the shark.
She-very likely was female that that size-lives in the ocean. We don’t.
Unfortunately sometimes accidents happen.
Yep, that was on the news here yesterday. Agreed, Barb, it was more than likely a White, given the size; that’s what they’re saying here. Whites and Makos are the 2 prominent sharks down here, and they grow ‘em big, too!!! 6 meters (even though that’s not uncommon for Whites in these parts)!!!...we still looked at each other...OMG!!!
Yes, our sharks do tend to grow large, but, for so many incidents so close together I would have a guess and say the commercial fishermen have had a field day in the area depleting their food sources.
Adelaide is understandable for Great White attacks, as the area is reknowned for sharks coming in close to shore following the migrational pattern of birthing whales etc.(due to warm waters the tidal flow that sweeps down the coast of Western Australian and around South Australian, which gets trapped against the shore by cold waters from the south pole, there is very little marine growth, hence very little pickings of fishes).
Or Aussies must just taste great
lmao so busy thinking of Aussies as a food source errors....*"Western Australia and around South Australia,”....would have been alright if it was an extra m, could just say mmmmmmmmmmm
He was bitten in half and death seemed to be instantaneous??? I hate it when people jump to conclusions.
Yeah, really? I was bitten in half once and all it caused me was a momentary dizziness. Feh! All this guy needed was a little bactine and a coupla Fosters .... good on yer, mate!
