  1. Well you have little use for it OCM. Others don’t feel that way. However, using any religion to beat other folks up with is a bad thing.

Yeah, I can just see muslim stand-up. The Grand Imam Andrew Dice Clay. “So I’m standing there, with my !*%& stuck up a goat’s +(!#, and this &!#$ in a burkha walks by. I’m like, yo ))!#, why don’t you *&*! my ^^&$ing `~_+? And she says, “not now, I have to feed the goat!”

  2. Well, OCM, you may not have any use for any religion. But you ignore it at your peril.

Religion, specifically Judeo-Christianity, made our world what it is. It influenced the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, etc. Religion was also a factor in the US Civil War. Religion, again Judeo-Christianity, says that men are not property; that holding one man in bondage to another is wrong.

This is not true for Islam. Slavery still exists in the Muslim world.

Don’t even get me started on how Muslims treat women. Muslims aren’t man enough to handle women.

Drew, you need to do a YouTube video of Imam Clay’s stand-up routine.

  3. Well said Christopher but that is the point of the argument - Christians are taught (if they are indeed taught about their faith, not given a social ‘justice’ lecture) to be loving and tolerant of their fellow man - to hate the sin, not the sinner. This is certainly not true of islam/muslims. And Christians are taught to share their faith. That is the catch in two ways - sharing is not specifically witnessing - to me it is more a discussion and an explanation rather than a conversion attempt. I’ve always been against conversion - WHO are you to think that YOUR religion/church is the ONE? Teach me, tell me why you chose your religion/church don’t talk to me like a used car salesman in a fevered sales pitch. [forgive me, I digress - last post before family visit]

Islam/muslims are not that way - they only know what the iman/mosque tells them - and many I think adhere out of shear fear - thus the edicts to convert (at the end of a sword) if necessary. And yes, the slavery (Afrika is numero uno on that front, hmm I wonder why?!?) and their treatment of anyone - not just women, children, other sects, the disabled, the handicapped is abysmal. There is no God who would not only condone such behavior but to encourage it - thus islam has become a corruption of man.

And it’s going to kill us all, if we don’t find another ‘cowboy’ willing to sling a few guns and put the cultists back in their place (six feet under).

  4. Wow! What a Monday morning! The rain has stopped. I’m off work. And I think I just got ‘dittoes’ from wardmama.

    Could it get any better?

Yes, I’d really like to discuss the differences between male and female with my wife.

Unlike Muslims, I’m willing to discuss such differences; preferably sans clothing. grin

Scary creatures, these females. You’d almost think they’re human! (that is said with tongue firmly in… cheek?)

I’m willing to bet that there is not a Muslim who can joke about male/female relations like I just did. Yes, I’m joking, but I hold women in general, and my wife specifically, in reverence.

I doubt that Muslims do that, even with their wives.

  5. Cat, let me ask you a question here. Were you religious at one time in the past, and if so, what drove you away from that, toward your current position on it?
