   Look up “the Lautenberg Amendment” and learn how his personal piece of legislative fame can cause you to lose your Second Amendment rights WITHOUT DUE PROCESS OF ANY KIND over a misdemeanor accusation - not even a conviction, merely an accusation - made in court without your knowledge. AND it will cost you your career in the military if you have one at that point. AND it’s ex-post facto, in direct contravention of the Constitution. That’s the real Lautenberg.

I actually watched that guy Maddow on MSNBC - surprisingly the only news channel doing an homage to Lautenberg - apparently - the only reason he was still there is that Torricelli was forced to pull out of the 2002 election due to illegal contributions, at that time Lautenberg had already retired - but you know how the Dems love ‘them name recognition candidates for the low information voters. Term Limits baby - what is good for the Prezzie is good for the lower Congresscritters.
