  1. Drew if you watch any of the footage of the 70th Anniversary of D-Day at Arromanche you can see a section of the Mulberry Harbour still there. Mind you they were not built to last like the German defences. Many of the concrete gun emplacements survive to date because its too difficult to get rid of them. Oh and if you do catch any of the footage you might also spot the US President chewing gum whilst the assorted dignitaries arrive. The clown really is a no class barbarian.

  2. A friend sent me a powerpoint on D-Day - somehowindownloading it - it vamoosed from my email. If I can find where it downloaded to - I will send it to you Drew. Amazing pics. Also one on a B-17 slammed into by a German plane that limped home with the tail held on by their parachutes. Neat stuff. Too bad today’s schools are about Indoctrination and not Education - History is fascinating. To think of what my Dad lived through and almost never talked about.
