That’s soooo stupid.
Its right up there with the ad showing folks trapped on a stopped escalator...help!
City people....
College educated?
Ohmigosh! It’s corn. Pick a direction and keep going.
But then I grew up on a farm that alternated between corn and soybeans. Had to cross the 40 acre cornfield to get to the woods when we teenaged wargamers wanted to practice maneuvers camp out in the woods for the weekend.
I’ve actually come across similar instances of helplessness before. City Boy Scout troops. Got to the campsite; storm is coming; these kids actually thought that the tents would pitch themselves. They didn’t have to help. (Why does that remind me of OWS crowd?)
Needless to say, that got fixed pretty quickly. (yes, I was patient in instructing them how to pitch a tent… very patient in the face of the coming storm!)
Next: Breakfast cooks itself… aka; somebody else feeds me… Oh? Forgot to bring food? (But I didn’t have to deal with that.)
The Boy Scouts actually taught me more than I give them credit for. Outside of earning merit badges. For instance, how to plan a camping trip and bring enough food. I didn’t really appreciate the position of patrol ‘Quartermaster’, but that’s very important…
and I’m getting off topic.
Think I’ll save this for a Skipper-like think piece. I’m already working on one. Well, two. The one I’ll mention is that the USA already has a VAT tax.
Amazing how almost any liberal deficiency leads to another deficiency…ad infinitum.
