1. Oh my goodness. Is it something in the water over there? Why even bother with the expense of having police investigate a juvvie crime?

   Lord Judge had called for jail terms for burglaries with aggravating factors such as stealing sentimental items…

   So as long as the 46” LCD television they stole wasn’t in your family for generations, it’s all good?

   It must be the water, or they are still cooking in lead pots and pans.

2. Bring back flogging.

   Public.  Televised. 

   It’s quick, cheap, a serious deterrent, and seeing some punk flogged on TV could bring in MILLIONS for… whatever.

   It’d be a great way to employ sadistic perverts as well!  Bonus!
