Yeah, because
1) They didn’t earn that freedom, it was given to them and now, generations later, they don’t know what it’s worth. (gosh, where have we seen that one before??????)
2) They manage to live in the West but not be part of it. Damned if I know how, when we are under a never ending barrage of information and advertisement and peer pressure in every form and in every type of media.
But the ones who move into this by choice? Hey, there are women who marry guys who are in jail for life. They’re just as nuts IMO.
Ah Drew & Peiper - these women are in the same class as Bernice Bowen - no that name does not strike a bell but how about the ‘rest of the story: Her 4 year-old son was shot in the face by her boyfriend whom (while paramedics were attempting to save the life of her son) she agreed with him as to the lie of who he was (Hank Earl Carr) - and did not tell police he was actually Joseph Lee Bennett - who had a handcuff key - got out of the handcuffs and killed two police officers and held a person in a convenience store hostage until he killed himself.
She went to jail for aiding Carr/Bennett - how any mother could watch someone kill their child and then protect him - is beyond me.
Perhaps it is just a lack of morals & God in America (and the cult that happens to be islamic).
