Frank, this crew has been around for awhile. I think we once called them beatniks?
Long live the memory of Jack Kerouac!
”...what else can one be in such a stupid world.” ha ha… Gotta admit there is lots of truth to that.
I’m one of those who gets the willies from clowns, but I am all for laughing at the absurdity in life, and these guys seem to have it down pat.
Good comment, Cat. :}
I’ve always liked clowns. I’m sorry for those who are/were disturbed by them. The great ones can make you laugh or make you cry, sometimes at the same time.
I’m thinking one of the greatest was Red Skelton. Oh he didn’t often appear in clown garb but, at heart, that’s what and who he was.
Here is a little trivia for you:
My great uncle was perhaps the greatest clown of all time.
Do you know who he was?
(hint: we share the same last name.)
OMG, I was going to mention Emmett Kelly. I’ll never forget him either.
...and I didn’t need the hint.
“greatest clown of all time” was enough for me.
Ahh, Capitan, I take note of your lineage. :}
Emmett Kelly was related to you?????? Wow, I am impressed!!
Are these guys related to Killer Klowns from Outer Space?
