Skipper, this isn’t news for two reasons 1) the msm is a dem operative, so they have to paint their only subscribers as the ‘good guys’ and 2) the dems lie, cheat and take money to do ‘good’ and for the ‘greater good’.
Get it right, understand it and realize that those who sceed the loudest about an evil are probably the ones committing it. . .or guilty from having done it in their past.
Haven’t you ever met an ex-smoker - nastiest people you want to meet on the topic of smoking . . .except me
I could care less anymore either way.
The bad part about this is not that Feinstein has been feeding from the trough, or even that the MSM has ignored it. The truly bad part is this has been happening with NO oversight, critism, or objection from the GOP. NONE.
There may be a difference in politics at the local level - but when they hit the big time, they are all the same. This IS America’s criminal class.
Keep in mind, while these petty thieves and con artists are busy angling for their place at the trough, mindlessly bickering to appease their enablers, the Sovs, the Chinese, the moslems are sitting back watching us come unglued.
The downfall of this great nation will be the unbridled greed and corruption of our “leaders.”
Nope, I suspected that the demonicrats would wrest control of Congress from the repubs and that the real reason for wanting control wasn’t to better America, but instead to be in control since power is a very powerful aphrodisiac. The demonicrats showed their true colors when they effectively shut out the repubs at the start of the current session. So much for reaching across the aisle.
I call for both of the major parties to take a long, careful look at where they are driving the country. Both parties ignored the Constitution and in the end put into place unconstitutional laws (McCain Feingold campaign reform law), agencies (Department of Education), while overstepping their Constitutional authority (activist judges). Our government is in trouble and should be aware that the people aren’t stupid.
We have a problem with an out of control press printing what ever comes out of their collective pencils what with doctored images, fake but true documents, and the press lacking the ability to accurately report on the sun coming up in the east and setting in the west. What to do? I don’t know. We might have to come together to discuss these issues, the far reaching ramifications of inaction/action, and where the country is going.
Kirk, I agree with most of what you said, except for the part about the people not being stupid. If you want proof that many, if not most, are stupid, then just look at the very congress we are talking about. Sure, there was some turnover this last time, but not for the better. However, an incredible amount of congress-critters who are not only part of the current problem, but leaders of it got re-elected! And I’m not talking solely about dimmicrats. I’m at the point where I have no use for repugnicans either. If people weren’t so stupid, we would have a much higher turnover rate in congress and those who weren’t cutting it would be replaced with those who might. And if they couldn’t do it, they’d find themselves out in 2 or 4 years and replaced by another. That is, after all, the way our founding fathers wanted it.
I can imagine Washington, Monroe, Jefferson, and so many others sitting on the other side with so much mixed emotion. On one hand, there are many who have taken what they gave and done wonderful things. On the other, there are many who have corrupted the vision they had and done their all to destroy this great nation. I can only think of the conversations that occur between our founding fathers and those who tear down their country when they get there. To be a fly on the wall…
John, could it be we Americans are lazy? Much easier to go with the evil you know than the evil you don’t know. We’ve got to do something. Wonder how hard it would be to get some recall elections going for our congress-critters? Would the congress-critters complain? Would it be Constitutional?
This kind of thing has happed in the UK, Mrs Ts :bow down: old man had some telecom deal going on and the msm would not leave it, now our fearless leaders wife is some legal big wig helping so called victims, going against government policy on ill legal immigrants (wannabe terrorists, ponces, cop killers, ect ect ) and no one bats an eyelid.
Silly me, i forgot the lefts slogan, “dont do as i do do as i say”
Sounds like this is much worse than Cheney’s (sp?) Haliburton non scandal. At least Cheney didn’t have active interests like Feinstein’s hubby. The rats would have had a field day with that one, if Cheney’s wife had active interests in Haliburton. Hypocrite, your name is democrats.
Maybe I’m a little dense, but why the hell was any Dimocrap—and especially the head cheerleader for the moonbats—chairman of ANYTHING from 2001-2005? Weren’t there ANY Stupid Party Senators available, or was this more of that “bipartisanship” (aka surrender to the Dimocraps) I’ve heard about?
Yes, and under the Repub control - the FDA chair was ousted because (surprize, not) his wife owned pharma stock - conflict of interest that he just ‘conveniently’ forgot on his senate confirmation form. There is another governmental bureaucratic mess of kickbacks, bribes and under the table dealings. And Americans pay with crock drugs, dangerous drugs and billion dollar profits for the pharma companies.
So how do we get a Term Limit in place, a Fair Tax, end earmarks and pork, bad laws and rid America of career politicos who are ruining government, taxing Americans beyond belief and lying and cheating their way to that mecca of greed, Washington DC?
