1. Drew, that’s a clever and fun video. Leave it to you to find stuff like that.

   In some respects there is a bit of truth to it.  The Mexican lady I was once married to already had three kids. Very well behaved, not bullied but knew who the boss was. I was never a kiddie oriented guy but hers were very likeable.
   On the other hand, ya have to wonder who is raising the boys and girl gang thugs in LA that seem out of control.

   Many,many years ago when I lived in Ca., I knew a number of Mexican immigrants. The folks I knew then were a nice bunch. Never had a problem. Back then of course, and it goes way back,
   we weren’t even aware of illegal immigration and I don’t recall the term ever being used. But then again, I was pretty young myself and don’t recall reading newspapers. And we didn’t have the drug problem we have now. In some ways it was a better world I think. I know, health and medicine advances since those days are better, so are our cars and maybe even the movies (?) but I don’t think we are.

   Not a good week. Good grief what the hell am I saying. It’s just started.

   Back out, covered in 58 (that I could actually count) mosquito bites, worn out. Blah.

2. I thought you sprayed the yard for bugs just the other week!

   Must be time for a refresh. Meh, the stuff I’m using only lasts a few weeks too, what with all the rain we’ve been having.

   And now ... no rain, but we’re getting a week of mid-Spring weather here at the beginning of August. Highs in the low 80s, with dry. Oh yes; I’ll take that, thank you too much.
