1. I have a little problem with this study.  This is from the Swiss who probably studied the Euro-weinies.  The smart babe/dumb guy formula may work with an emasculated Europe, but not where real men live.  Besides, this factor may work if the guy has an IQ of 90 to 110, but what if its 130..140?  Good luck finding a gal with an IQ of 165 to 180.

2. I’m more interested in how they arrived at 27%. That’s pretty specific.

   Why not a generic ‘quarter’ or ‘third’?

   27%? So 25% is too little, and 30% is too much?

   My take on a happy marriage?

   Regardless of IQ, marriage is NOT a 50-50 proposition. If you approach it that way, who decides the 50% mark? Both sides must give 100% to the marriage.

   Now, that’s not a promise of a ‘happy’ marriage. I daresay both will still fight, argue, scream, etc. I know we do. And we’ve been married for 20 years. But I’m 100% committed to this marriage. I guess she is too. Otherwise one of us would have bailed years ago.

   Love, and marriage, is a choice. It takes a lot of work to make it work.
