  1. Are you one of those “Trophy Hunter” types Drew? You know ,after awhile those things just collect dust and end up in the closet. Want to see my pile of Nascar crap, its in a box here somewhere.

  2. The good ones go on the fridge. USBC sends you a nice little enameled tie tack/pin for your first series of various levels, but the other annual awards are fridge magnets or key rings. Once you’ve got the complete set they just get in the way, but the membership demanded that the annual awards continue; USBC only publishes their magazine once in a blue moon these days, and only online. So folks want to see something for their annual dues, and thus the plethora of patches, magnets, and keyrings.

Many of the old awards are no longer given out. There used to be a Big Four patch for making the 4-6-7-10 split, there was a Dutch 200 patch, All Spares, Triplet, etc. Not sure if there ever was a 7-10 or a 6-7-10 patch for those difficult spares.

Neither of us collect trophies any longer, but we do display a few of the nicest looking ones from fencing, shooting, etc collected over the years.
