   Your link keeps going to a story on Iraqi and U.S. forces hitting a guerrilla training camp.

   I found this The NYT: maybe they should read blogs? at Chernkoff. It is a pretty good piece on the incident. The NYT claims that this is the first time this has happened, and Chernkoff calls bullshit.

3. If the NYT thinks this is the first time this happened, they’re sorely wrong.
   The day after the election in Iraq, a similar incident happened.  Some islamofascists decided to punish a particular town for voting.  The townsfolk got wind of it and were waiting, AKs in hand.
   I don’t remember how many terrorists died, but it was several.  The town, IIRC, suffered no fatalities on their side.
