  1. A loud argument?

WTF is this crap, these people are fricking cowards.

If you yell at me, I am NOT going to pop a round into your stupid ass, I might bitchslap you, but your idiocy would hardly be worth the 50 cent round.

If you pull a knife on me, that’s a whole other story, now you are a direct threat, and I will pop your sorry ass.

If you flip me off, I may just flip you back, but I am NOT going to waste a 50 cent round on your stupid ass.

If you try to run me off the road, I am gonna pop your stupid ass.

In essence, if you are just being rude and stupid, you might get your ass kicked, but NO ONE with a gun is going to shoot you.

Whereas if you get stupid and become a direct threat, you have a very good chance of going home in a body bag.

  2. Has anybody mentioned lately that there are no depths to which these nutters will not plunge? Just wondering.

They seem to be against people being able to defend themselves. I believe that we need to defend ourselves against them and their like.

I always found that people were polite in Texas, when I was stationed there. Many, if not most, were armed and that’s where I first learned that an armed society is a polite society. Nothing wrong with people being polite. In fact it’d be a great improvement in many other places.

  3. 1. Again, I’m amazed that we have gotten to where we need a law authorizing people not to flee from criminals.

    2. Run ads in states that don’t have this law: WARNING, CRIMINALS IN ____ HAVE GOOD REASON TO BE BOLD!

  4. Blame the lawyers for your #1 Oink. There are some places where a “duty to retreat” theory has become ensconced in the law. i.e. the innocent party has a “duty to retreat” from an aggressor. I’m guessing that some brilliant shyster was able to advance this theory in winning a wrongful death suit when some scumbag got blown away after threatening some armed citizen who wasn’t going to put up with his shit.

Florida just took steps to eliminate that theory. That’s all.

We don’t have to look much beyond DC to see what a total lockdown on firearms will do for the crime rate. Then there’s Blighty. How much proof do these folks need to see that their gun grabbing laws make things worse instead of better? No matter what the laws are the bad guys are going to get guns while the honest citizen is denied the right of self protection.

I still recall going into a liquor store in the suburbs of Atlanta years ago and noting that the guy behind the counter had a hawgleg strapped to his thigh. I’ll bet that nobody even thought about robbing that place. LOL

Intstant crime reduction. So simple that they can’t won’t see it.

On the whole, I like the idea of an armed society. It’d be much more peaceful and the gene pool would be a lot cleaner.

  5. There’s an article in this month’s Reason mag putting the ultimate blame on shit for Brains juries.  They are probably regulars on the following MSN.com front page site.

  6. I’ve never felt the need for a law that allows persons to defend themselves.....

I’ve always beleived: I’d rather be judged by 12 then carried by 6.

  9. Screw ‘em!!

The citizens of the state, any state, have priority over some visiting clown.

I live in a tourist town (San Antonio).  I have a concealed carry permit and I don’t give a damn what visitor from the EU thinks about it.

Robert Heinlein said that a heavily armed society was a polite society.  I’m a pacifist.  A heavily armed one.
