Saved By My Impatience*

 

1. I run windoze 7 for work (64bit pro) and that patch screwed up Virtualbox which I need for work. Fortunately I spotted that an update had come from Micro$haft so I was able to roll it back to a pre update version but it was intensely aggravating.

2. Windows 8.1 here. The original update was installed and NOT updated, as you describe. No problems that I know about.
