Here in Ontario we get most of our power from a combination of water and gravity, to the degree the power is known as “hydro” and everything connected is called “hydro lines, poles, company etc” so guess what was reduced in the recent earth hour? yup thats right, the hydro-electric, the atomic and fossil stations kept about the same, this was for sound technical reasons (dont try and explain that to the flat earth lot!) also some idiot is planning a solar panel farm to save the CO2 the hydro causes (his words not mine) near us here in Simcoe county, we are 100% green consumers, Orillia has only had hydro as water was the first form of mechanised power and untill recent times a tradition. The Victorians (the group who built stuff that still stands and works over 100 years later) basically only used wind to mill flour or lift water as it was not reliable for industrial use. There seems to me to be an epidemic of insanity with this CO2 bullshit.
