Not really silliness, truths hidden in humor. . . Have a great weekend.
Comrades,
See also these;
1.) When in doubt, the Claymore is pointed at you.....
2.) If the position is so secure that the enemy cannot get in, then you cannot get out either.....
3.) Good decisions are the result of experience. Experience is the result of poor decisions.....
4.) After pacifying an area, don’t forget to inform the enemy.....
God bless all my brothers and sisters who have gone before and are serving now. They have kept liberty’s flame alight, and in that fire, they live on still.
Respects,
Gwedd
More military humor…
and
Ah yes, Skippy. That is a real hoot.
Skippy is a hoot.
As an ex-navy nuclear reactor operator, I submit the following:
1. “The reactor is critical” (This is good news, you started it up as planned)
2. “We have thirty freeze-seals but we don’t know where they are.” (bad)
3. SCRAM (term used for emergency reactor shutdown...mostly used during training drills)
Actual marking on the “active” (convex) side of a Claymore mine:
THIS SIDE TOWARDS ENEMY.
Not only is it the law, it is also a damn good idea…
