Sarah Palin’s daughter’s ‘redneck’ boyfriend adds to McCain campaign woes .

 

1. Guy on Fox News just spoke the truth by accident: Obama says the families are off limits. Evangelicals don’t care about this, since the families seem to be doing the right thing. It’s the news media who is harping on this because they have no other scandal to talk about right now. So a scumbag journalist outed the whole industry as fellow scumbags. He also mentioned that radical lefty blogs are going after the girl as hard as they can. He didn’t mention that the gossip blogs are harping on it as well, and even running stories about such heavy weight political analysts as Lindsay Lohan who have put up posts about her.

   This has to be a terrible shock to the Palin family and the daughter especially. Yes, we went through something similar a few months back with little Jamie Lynn Spears, but the truth there is that Spears, while also a minor, was/is a professional public figure. Ten days ago the world had no idea who Sarah Palin was; they didn’t even know she had kids, much less that one of them was preggers.

   And Levi Johnston? Please. What kid doesn’t sprinkle swear words on their MyFace page? What young guy isn’t “puttin it” out there, acting like little mr. tough guy, looking for some “street cred”? Duh. They’re teenagers. It’s what they do.

   The lesson here IMO is that the media is scum. They respect no limits. They respect no privacy. This story isn’t news. It’s unfortunate, but teen pregnancy is awfully common these days. Tens of millions of young girls wind up this way, and it isn’t broadcast around the world 24 hours a day. The media should be flogged, and so should a lot of blogs.
