4. They are worried that the United States wants to take over authoritarian governments in Central Asia?  Right.  As if we don’t have more pressing issues to contend with.  Maybe Putin is worried about the income from the poppies.

   The Kremlin said “they have to say how much longer they will stay.” No we don’t.

5. Phoenix, I once heard that it didn’t hurt the Mustafas to proscribe alcohol, for after all, they had no convenient way of making it anyway (for lack of raw materials).

   Not so hashish and poppies, however.  The Word of the All-Highest is strangely silent on those topics.....
