Excellent.
Was this the place that had live hunting? I mean hunting live critters.
Looks like they found a way to make their investment give ‘em a return anyway.
Is anybody else thinking how this could be combined with border security? Hmmm?
Yeah! What’s more American than applying technology to make money? I just don’t have a problem with this.
Now, real hunting might be something else entirely. There are certainly some fair chase ethics questions that come up.
Yes, this guy has thrown all the lawmakers, Republican and Democrat into an epileptic fit. The email transcript between Allan, Vilmar and me is in the next post.
EXCELLENT!!!
BTW. I’m a crack shot. At Pendleton, I hit 98 of 100 at a 100. The jarhead instructor used me for a side bet with another instructor ... seeing as how I wear Coke bottle bottoms ... the guy made some real dough off me. I wound up shooting at 55gal drums up the hill, behind the range at 500yds with a 1911. I might be blinder’n a bat ... but I can shoot fucker.
I hit a jack rabbit at 150yds with an M1 carbine on the fly.
BAM!!!
Guy I was with just about shit.
OK Steel, I might go hunting with you after all.
Jeez, Stanley - I never said I couldn’t shoot. My rifle is sighted in at 250yds. I have a 3 - 9 non-duplex reticle scope on it (just very fine cross hairs), usually set on 4X, and can see just fine.
It’s stoked with 30-06 handloads, 150gr. Hornadys, 58gr H414 that chrono’s at 3040fps (NOT boatails). It’s a Midland by Parker Hale, that I’d re-barreled with a 24” Douglass barrel that HATES boatails! Hundred yard five shot groups can still be covered with a 50 cent piece. Good enough for me. I go for neck shots (drop ‘em down where they stand) and I’ve never missed what I’m shooting at - yet. Last whitetail scored 187 on B&C.
Garand, Win94 and SKS w/ iron sites are on target at 100yds too.
S&W .38, 1911 and .22 SA handguns are nominal - they’re all in the black on 8-1/2x11 printed targets on cardstock downloaded from the net. But truth be told, nothing stellar there. The eyes let me down some in that department. Too bad, I used to compete in timed and rapid 20yd and was classed expert marksman. Oh well, shit happens, right? It’s still fun.
