  1. You’re kidding, right? The police show up to assist a black man the rest of the blacks riot? Did I read you correctly?

Also peiper, guess I got some insight into your personal life. You say:

    being married to a Brit.

Now, all this time I thought you were a Brit!

So peiper, what are you? American? Canadian? (therefore still a subject of Her Majesty, the Queen) Other?

Gotta watch what you write peiper, little slips like that fuel gossip columns.

  2. That isn’t a slip Chris.  I have stated that I’m an American living here on more then one occasion. Where ya been friend?  In fact, last time you asked I said the same. In fact, I once wrote an entire history and posted it here, on the history of both our families.

  3. Sorry peiper. Guess I forgot. Don’t remember asking before. Don’t suppose you’d provide a link? If it’s still there.

  4. A link to the history? Gee. How would I find that?  I can’t remember what title I used.

Let me see what I have in my files. I’m sure I saved it somewhere but I’m about to shut for the night. Been an over long day. It had to do with the coincidence that families on different sides of the atlantic not only shared a same business venture but both wife and I screwed financially by someone with the same name. I think but can’t remember if I had a few pix. It’s been awhile. Bet Drew would be able to find it in seconds. OK, minutes maybe.

  5. You could always search BMEWS on some of the key words. I recall it was your story about the family business, the fabric trade IIRC, a nefarious uncle, and a national chain of shops. That ought to be easy to find.
